Age Limit for Tripura Civil Service Recruitment 2023
A candidate shall not be below 21 years and over 40 years of age as on a specific date mentioned in the official notification released by the Commission. Upper Age-limit is relaxable by 5(five) years in case of SC, ST, Differently abled (PH) candidates and Government Servants, provided that the Govt. servants of SC/ST/ Differently abled (PH) category shall not get this relaxation over and above the general relaxation of 5 (five) years available to them.

Tripura Civil Service Recruitment 2023 Exam Pattern
- Preliminary (200 marks)
- Mains (800 marks)
- Personality Test (100 marks)
1. Preliminary Examination Pattern:
- The Preliminary Examination will consist of only one paper viz. a paper on “General Studies”.
- The Preliminary Examination is a screening test only to select candidates for the Main Examination. The marks obtained in this examination by the candidates will not be considered for preparing final merit list.
- The paper will be of an Objective Type consisting of 200 Multiple Choice Question.
- The paper will carry 200 marks and will be of two and half (2½) hours duration.
- There shall be negative marking of ¼ (one-fourth) of the marks assigned to that question for each wrong answer/multiple answers.
- The standard of the paper will be of the level of knowledge as expected of a graduate of any faculty of the recognized University.
