Online applications are invited with effect from 04.01.2025 (from 4:00 PM) to 10.01.2025 (from to 4:00 PM) from Indian Nationals having permanent residence in Tripura for selection to the following posts under Elementary Education Directorate, Education (School) Department, Government of, Tripura. All posts are Permanent and period of probation is 2-years.

Essential Minimum Qualifications for Under Graduate Teacher (Classes I-V)
Educational Qualifications:
- Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with:
- At least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, or
- At least 45% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (as per NCTE 2002 norms), or
- At least 50% marks and a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.), or
- At least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Special Education, or
- Graduation with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
- Note: 1-year Diploma in Education allowed for academic sessions up to 2004-05.
- Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with:
Additional Requirements:
- Passed Tripura Teachers’ Eligibility Test (T-TET) Paper I and obtained a certificate.
- Desirable: Knowledge of Bengali or Kokborok.
- Permanent Resident Certificate (PRTC) of Tripura is mandatory for direct recruitment under the state government.
Relaxations:
- 5% relaxation in qualifying marks for SC/ST/PH candidates.
Essential Minimum Qualifications for Graduate Teacher (Classes VI-VIII)
Educational Qualifications:
- Graduation with:
- 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, or
- 50% marks in Graduation/Post-Graduation and B.Ed., or
- 45% marks in Graduation and B.Ed. (as per NCTE norms), or
- Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with:
- 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.), or
- 50% marks and 4-year B.A./B.Sc. Ed or B.A. Ed/B.Sc. Ed, or
- Post-Graduation with 55% marks and 3-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.
- Note: Minimum percentage of marks in Graduation not applicable to candidates admitted to B.Ed. or equivalent before July 29, 2011 (as per NCTE notification dated November 13, 2019).

Pay Details
Under-Graduate Teacher (for Classes I-V): Rs. 16,050/- (Revised), fixed per month as 75% of the basic pay as per Level-7 of Tripura State Pay Matrix, 2018. [Group-C Non-Gazetted]
Graduate Teacher (for Classes VI-VIII): Rs. 20,475/- (Revised), fixed per month as 75% of the basic pay as per Level-9 of Tripura State Pay Matrix, 2018. [Group-C Non-Gazetted]
